It has been revealed that the Mint and Stamp Printing House General Directorate has not minted any small coins in the last two months. Experts commented that production was halted due to the emission rates in the market being at a sufficient level.

The General Directorate of the Mint and Stamp Printing House has suspended the production of small change coins, commonly known as "bozuk para," for the past 2 months.

It is clearly seen in the updated table of "The amount of small change coins put into circulation" published on the general directorate's official website that the mint did not produce any coins in October and November.

According to official data, the institution released small change coins worth 54 million 210 thousand liras in September. However, no production was carried out in October and November.
