After a trustee was appointed to Halk TV, the channel's broadcast was stopped at 06:31. At the moments when the broadcast was cut, it was seen on screen that after a LÖSEV advertisement themed 'Canım Kardeşim,' the program 'Görkemli Hatıralar' was airing.
In the early hours of the morning in Istanbul, following a police raid on Halk TV's headquarters, a trustee was appointed to the channel. After the developments, the television channel's broadcast was completely halted.
Halk TV presenter Deniz Bayramoğlu recounted what happened during the process of police teams entering the building and the management being transferred to the trustee committee.
MEETING ENDED WITHOUT RESULT, BROADCAST CUT OFF
Sharing the latest situation in the building, Deniz Bayramoğlu stated that the channel management's efforts to continue broadcasting had come to nothing. Bayramoğlu said, 'Halk TV Editor-in-Chief Suat Toktaş held a meeting with the chairman of the trustee committee about the continuation of the broadcast. However, this meeting ended without result and the Halk TV broadcast was stopped.'
THE MOMENTS THE SCREEN WAS BLACKED OUT
Details about the moment the channel's screen went dark have also become clear. It was recorded that the television broadcast was cut as of 06:31. Immediately after the broadcast was stopped, a LÖSEV commercial with the theme 'Canım Kardeşim' ('My Dear Sibling') was first brought to the screen; after the commercial, a culture and arts program titled 'Görkemli Hatıralar' ('Glorious Memories') was aired.
