After the explosion, which is believed to have been caused by natural gas, in the building on Osmancık Street in Çorum, a large number of fire, medical, and police teams were dispatched to the area. Çalgan said, "One of our citizens lost their life in the incident. Many of our citizens were also injured. The injured were transferred to healthcare facilities in the area.
