THE TOP SPOT GOES TO RIVER PLATE

In the ranking of the football stadiums that attracted the most spectators in the world in 2024, the top spot came from South America. The most filled stadium of the past year was Mâs Monumental, the home of River Plate, located in Buenos Aires, Argentina. The stadium, where River Plate plays its home matches, had an average of 84,025 fans per match.

ONLY ONE STADIUM FROM TURKEY

The European team that secured the highest position on the list was the German giant Borussia Dortmund, with its home ground Signal Iduna Park. Dortmund played in front of full stands, averaging 81,365 fans. Galatasaray ranked 49th with an average of 42,467 fans. The yellow-reds became the only Turkish team to make it onto this list.
