In Bursa, after an investigation was initiated by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services regarding N.K. (23), who opened a social media channel in the name of her son U.L.A. (2) and sold inappropriate images of herself to those who wanted to watch them for a subscription fee of 5,000 lira, the custody of the child was temporarily granted to the father, Serdar A. (27), by the Bursa 11th Family Court. Serdar A., who went to the address of his ex-wife living in Pendik, Istanbul, accompanied by the police and a psychologist, could not find anyone at the house and reported to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office that his child had been kidnapped.

Serdar A. and N.K., who live in the Nilüfer district, got married in 2021 out of love. The couple had one male child during their 8-month marriage. After a while, the couple, who experienced severe incompatibility, divorced, and the custody of their son U.L.A. was granted to his mother, N.K. After the divorce case, while Serdar A. stayed in Bursa, N.K. moved to Istanbul with her now 2-year-old son. After a while, N.K. allegedly opened a channel on social media in the name of her son U.L.A., uploaded inappropriate images of herself while breastfeeding her child, and started selling them for a subscription fee of approximately 5,000 lira to those who wanted to watch.

FILED A COMPLAINT

Serdar A. stated that his ex-wife shared recordings of herself breastfeeding their child on the channel, filed a complaint, and opened a case to obtain custody of his son. N.K., who was reached by phone by DHA reporters, defended herself by stating that she earned her living from this work, saying, "I spend most of my income on my son." An investigation was initiated against N.K. by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services under the 'Child Protection Law No. 5395.'

HAS COMPLAINED BEFORE

Following DHA's news, it was noted that a meeting was held with Serdar A. on November 9, and upon the father's complaint in May, since the mother and child lived in Istanbul, a social investigation was requested from the Istanbul Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, and it was emphasized that another investigation would be requested after the investigation concluded with a Counseling Measure Decision.

FIRST TAKEN INTO STATE PROTECTION, THEN...

In the report prepared as a result of the investigation initiated by the Provincial Directorate of Family and Social Services, it was stated that U.L.A., who stayed with his mother, was at risk regarding his physical, mental, moral, social, and emotional development, and therefore an urgent protection decision should be made. After the 'urgent protection' decision given by the Istanbul Anatolian Child Court, the child, who was taken into state protection, was returned to his mother on November 27, a week later, upon appeal. Following this, Serdar A. filed a lawsuit to change the custody. The Bursa 11th Family Court ruled on November 28 that the custody of U.L.A. should be temporarily granted to his father. Serdar A., who went to the address of his ex-wife living in Pendik, Istanbul, accompanied by the police and a psychologist to take his son, could not find anyone at the house. Unable to reach his ex-wife and her family because their mobile phones were off, Serdar A. reported to the Bursa Chief Public Prosecutor's Office that his child had been kidnapped.

"SHE MAY HAVE KIDNAPPED MY SON"

Serdar A., who said he had not been able to reach his son for 5 days, stated, "When I went to pick up my son, he was not at home. I cannot reach her, and her family is not answering my calls. She may have kidnapped my son, or perhaps she has gone abroad. Please give me my son back. I have prepared his room. I bought him toys. In fact, if I had taken my child, I would have gone on a picnic with him. Please let him come out, and return my child to me," he said.

N.K., who was reached by phone by DHA reporters, stated that she went on vacation with her son and turned off her mobile phone to avoid being disturbed. She said she often goes on vacation and that her ex-husband knows about this situation, saying, "I have been in Istanbul for 3 days. I am aware of the decision, but my ex-husband did not call me to take our child."
