The revaluation rate for 2024 has been determined as 43.93 percent. The General Communiqué of the Tax Procedure Law prepared by the Revenue Administration of the Ministry of Treasury and Finance has been published in the Official Gazette.

CPI HAS HAD AN IMPACT

In the communiqué, it was stated that according to the Tax Procedure Law, the revaluation rate is the average price increase rate in the Domestic Producer Price Index of the Turkish Statistical Institute for the same period of the previous year in October of the year in which the revaluation will be made (including October), and this rate must be announced by the Ministry in the Official Gazette.

In this context, it was noted that the revaluation rate has been set at 43.93 percent for the year 2024. It was reported that previous communiqués published on this matter are still in effect.

A NEW RATE WILL BE VALID FOR INCREASES

The rate of 43.93 percent determined for 2024 will have significant effects, especially in the business world and individual payments. It is expected that taxes, fees, and penalties will be increased annually by this rate.

According to the laws, President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan has the authority to increase or decrease the revaluation rate by 50 percent.
