In the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in Diyarbakır, the statements of the special team that found the lifeless body of eight-year-old Narin Güran, who was found dead 19 days after 'disappearing', have emerged. Confessor Nevzat Bahtiyar stated that he left Narin's lifeless body in a sack in the riverbed, and he mentioned that he left a stone on top of the body. In the statements of the mentioned soldiers, it is noted that there were three large stones on top of the sack where Narin's body was found. "I SAW A SACK THAT WAS AGAINST THE ORDINARY FLOW OF LIFE"Sergeant Major C.B.G, who was the element commander in the JÖAK Underwater Search and Rescue Team, stated, "While continuing the search in the direction of the Tigris River, I was looking at a point I was suspicious of with a 2-meter-long iron rod known as a probe. I saw a sack that was pressed down with three separate stones in a way that was against the ordinary flow of life and surrounded by bushes. Part of the sack was in the water, and part of it was on the edge of the stream. I approached the sack and checked it with the iron rod in my hand. When I saw the sack with its mouth tied, I immediately called my team commander H.Ü. I informed him that I had seen a suspicious sack. At that moment, my team commander and other personnel in the search operation also came to me. We pulled the suspicious sack out of the water and carried it to the edge of the stream. When we opened it, we saw that it was a human body," he said. "IT WAS HIDDEN UNDER A ROCK PIECE"Special Operations Command Underwater Search and Rescue Team diver and part of the team that found Narin, Specialist Sergeant E.K, stated in his testimony, "On the morning of the day the body was found, at 06:00, while I was continuing the search activity with my 5-person team, the element commander Sergeant Major C.B.G called out to us, stating that he saw a suspicious bag. We went in that direction with the other personnel in the team. When we arrived at the coordinates 37SFS06008 89639, we saw a sack that was wedged under a rock at the point where the Eğertutmaz stream met the soil, covered with three pieces of rock with diameters of 40 and 50 centimeters. We approached the point where the sack was located safely. We lifted the three large rocks on top of the sack. After we untied the rope at the mouth of the sack with our hands, we cut the sack with a knife. When we saw that the weight inside the sack was a human body, our team commander Lieutenant H.Ü informed the law enforcement teams in the area," he said. "THE MOUTH OF THE SACK WAS TIED WITH A RED ROPE"Lieutenant H.Ü, who is the commander of the Underwater Search and Rescue Team within the Special Operations Command, stated in his testimony, "On September 8, around 06:00 in the morning, while the water flow direction of the Eğertutmaz stream was towards the Tigris River, I was continuing the search activity with my personnel. Sergeant Major C.B.G called out to me, saying that he saw a sack that was pressed down with three separate stones and surrounded by bushes on the right side of the stream. When I went to that point, part of the sack was in the water, and part of it was on the edge of the stream. I approached the sack and checked it with my personnel using a probe. The mouth of the sack was tied. The mouth of the sack was also tied with a red rope. At that moment, personnel Sergeant Major C.B.G, Gendarmerie Sergeant B.F.B, and Specialist Sergeants İ.A and E.K, along with me, re-examined the suspicious sack. To be sure of what was inside, we took it from the water to the edge of the stream. When we cut the mouth of the sack with a knife and looked inside, we saw that it was a human body, and we informed the teams present there," he said.
