It has been learned that the framework law proposal for the 'Terror-Free Turkey' process, expected to be submitted to the Turkish Grand National Assembly, will be named 'Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Integration.' It has been reported that the AK Party has also established contact with the New Party for the proposal, which is intended to be submitted to the Assembly Presidency with the joint signature of political parties and the broadest consensus.
The details of the framework law proposal prepared within the scope of the "Terror-Free Türkiye" process and planned to be submitted to the Grand National Assembly of Türkiye (TBMM) are beginning to become clear. It has been learned that the regulation will be named "Strengthening National Solidarity and Social Cohesion."
BROAD POLITICAL CONSENSUS AIMED
The said law proposal is aimed to be submitted to the TBMM Speaker's Office with the joint signature of the political parties represented in the Parliament. It has been reported that the AK Party, which continues its political contacts regarding the law proposal without interruption, also held a meeting with the New Party within this scope. Through these contacts carried out under the roof of the Parliament, it is aimed to implement the regulation with the broadest possible social and political consensus.
HOW WILL THE PARLIAMENTARY CALENDAR WORK?
Following the completion of the meeting traffic among political parties, the proposal is expected to be submitted to the TBMM Speaker's Office shortly. After its submission to the Speaker's Office, the regulation will first be taken up in the Justice Commission; once the discussions there are completed, it will come to the agenda of the TBMM General Assembly for a final decision.
TEXT OPENED FOR SIGNATURES
According to backstage information; it was stated that a broad consensus was achieved on the draft and that obtaining signatures from most of the parties with parliamentary groups was targeted. AK Party Group Leader Güler met with the group administrators of the New Party, CHP, and New Path. It was also stated that the approach of the groups, except for the İYİ Party, towards the draft was positive, but "some parties were not inclined to sign jointly due to certain objections and reservations." AK Party deputies are expected to sign the proposal, which has been opened for signatures, by this evening. If a joint signature is not provided by the groups, there is a possibility that the proposal will be submitted with the signatures of the AK Party and MHP groups.
