NEW COMPANIES ADDED TO THE LIST
Every day, new products that pose a health risk and are subject to counterfeiting and adulteration are being added, attracting everyone's attention. The Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry continues to expose unsuitable products after inspections to ensure citizens have access to healthy food.
With the latest update, many products were included in the list, and their producers were announced.
POULTRY MEAT IN MINCED MEAT AND MEATBALLS
Recent tests revealed that fraud was committed in two branches of the Meat and Milk Institution, which is affiliated with the Ministry of Agriculture and Forestry. Poultry meat was detected in minced beef and minced meat (a mixture of beef and lamb) at the Meat and Fish branches located in Yüreğir and Sarıçam districts of Adana.
On the other hand, it was determined that poultry meat was used in the meatballs of Ada Izgara and Köfteci Talih Usta located in Kayseri.
It was announced that poultry meat was present in the fatty beef section of Bel-Et located in Kahramanmaraş.
HOTEL'S KEBAB FOUND TO BE FRAUDULENT
The presence of a hotel in the list of fraudulent products also drew attention. It was announced that poultry meat was found in the Adana kebab seasoning of the Imperial Sunland Hotel located in Kemer, Antalya.
COW'S MILK IN BUFFALO YOGURT
The company named Avara, operating in Bartın, was found to have cow's milk in its Avara buffalo yogurt.

It was determined that there was tomato in the red pepper of the Garanti Baharat brand.
GROUND PEANUT BAKLAVA
It was observed that ground peanuts were used instead of pistachios in Safir Baklava located in Dulkadir, Kahramanmaraş.
