In an unfortunate accident at an asphalt plant in the Siverek district of Şanlıurfa, 55-year-old site manager Mustafa Demirkan lost his life after coming into contact with an exposed electrical cable.

CONTACT WITH EXPOSED CABLE

The incident occurred in the morning hours at an asphalt plant in the Beyali neighborhood of the Siverek district. According to the information obtained, Mustafa Demirkan, who was working at the plant, came into contact with an exposed electrical cable that had not yet been secured during his inspections at the site. Suddenly struck by the high current, Demirkan collapsed in front of his colleagues.

SAD NEWS FROM THE HOSPITAL

Upon the report of the workers who witnessed the incident, medical teams were quickly dispatched to the plant area. Demirkan, who was seriously injured and received first aid at the scene, was taken by ambulance to the emergency service of Siverek State Hospital. Despite all the efforts and interventions of the doctors there, Mustafa Demirkan lost his fight for life.

INVESTIGATION LAUNCHED INTO THE INCIDENT

Demirkan's body was taken to the Şanlıurfa Forensic Medicine Institute morgue for an autopsy to determine the exact cause of death. An investigation has been launched into the incident.
