The Ministry of Interior has made an innovation in the 112 reporting system. With the "112 Web Reporting System" implemented by the Ministry, citizens can now report suspicious situations and criminal activities not only by phone but also via the internet. NEW ERA IN THE REPORTING SYSTEMIn a statement made on the Ministry of Interior's social media account regarding the new reporting system, it was announced that a new era has begun with the "112 Web Reporting System." The statement included, "The 112 Web Reporting System, implemented by our Ministry of Interior, is at the service of our citizens with its user-friendly interface and easy access. With this system, suspicious situations and criminal activities can be reported to the authorities quickly and securely." FORM TO BE FILLED OUTThe system offers the opportunity to carry out transactions quickly and orderly with a reporting form that guides users. Citizens can now report at ihbar.ng112.gov.tr. The reporting form requests detailed information regarding the incident or case. First, the location information of the incident must be filled out. Another section of the form allows citizens to explain the details of the incident. Additionally, it can be selected which security unit the report will be directed to (Police or Gendarmerie). In the personal information section, citizens are asked to fill in their name, surname, identity number, address, phone number, and email information completely. There is also an option for non-Turkish citizens to mark accordingly.
