The new Chairman of the Board of TOGG is Fuat Tosyalı.

The Chairman of the Board of the Turkey's Automobile Initiative Group (TOGG) has been elected as Fuat Tosyalı, a member of the TOGG Board of Directors.

Since 2018, the new Chairman of the Board of TOGG, which has been led by Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, the President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), is Tosyalı. Tosyalı, who has been elected as the Chairman of the Board of TOGG, which was established in partnership with Anadolu Group, BMC, Turkcell, Zorlu Holding, and TOBB, has also been serving as the Chairman of the Board of BMC Automotive Industry and Trade Inc. since 2021.

WHO IS FUAT TOSYALI?

Fuat Tosyalı, the founder and Chairman of the Board of Tosyalı Holding, was born in 1961 in Hatay. Tosyalı took over the business started by his father, Hacı Şerif Tosyalı, in stove-pipe and boiler-bucket manufacturing in the 1970s, and entered active trade life, founding Tosyalı Metal Trade in 1988. In 1993, he established Tosyalı Iron and Steel Industry Inc., stepping into the industry with the production of construction rebar in 1994. Tosyalı quickly became capable of producing in various segments of steel production with many companies. In 1996, he established Tosyalı Foreign Trade Inc. and made his first export, while in 1998, he brought all his companies under the umbrella of Tosyalı Holding. Fuat Tosyalı, the Chairman of Tosyalı Holding, which is one of the top 100 exporting companies in Turkey in 2006 and produced the first private sector flat steel in Turkey in 2010, shifted his focus to joint investments with global giants and global markets. In 2011, he laid the foundations of Tosyalı Algerie, Turkey's largest industrial investment abroad, transforming the Tosyalı Group into a global iron and steel giant by investing in Senegal, Angola, Libya-Benghazi, Spain, and Gulf countries. The group launched Tosyalı Toyo with Japanese giant Toyo Kohan and Tosyalı Harsco with American Harsco.

TOSYALI IS ALSO THE CHAIRMAN OF BMC'S BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Tosyalı has also been serving as the Chairman of the Board of BMC Automotive Industry and Trade Inc., one of Turkey's oldest commercial and military vehicle manufacturers, since 2021. Fuat Tosyalı also holds positions as the Chairman of the Board of the Turkish Steel Producers Association (TÇÜD) and the Mediterranean Iron and Non-Ferrous Metals Exporters Association, Coordinator Chairman of the Africa Business Councils of the Foreign Economic Relations Board (DEİK), and a Board Member of the Turkey Wealth Fund and the Turkey Tax Council.
