Arat resigned on November 29 due to the poor performance of the football team and issues within the board of directors. According to the regulations, the second president, Hüseyin Yücel, who took over from Arat, convened the board of directors and decided to hold an extraordinary congress. HÜSEYİN YÜCEL COMPETED FOR THE FIRST TIME
Hüseyin Yücel competed for the presidency in the black-and-white club for the first time and lost. Serving as the second president under Hasan Arat, Yücel took the presidential seat after Arat's resignation. Yücel, who was a member of the board of directors during the last term of former president Fikret Orman, was on the list of other candidates, Serdal Adalı, in the congress where Ahmet Nur Çebi was elected president for the first time on October 20, 2019.

Serdal Adalı competed for the presidency of Beşiktaş for the 4th time and won this time.
