The new president will be elected next week! Ali Koç officially resigned from his presidency position at the Club Association Foundation.

The meeting to determine the new president of the Club Association Foundation has ended without disrupting its current HTML. The meeting, held at the foundation's headquarters in Maslak, was attended by Ali Koç, the president of Fenerbahçe Club, Hasan Arat, the president of Beşiktaş Club, Ertuğrul Doğan, the president of Trabzonspor Club, Metin Öztürk, the vice president of Galatasaray Club, and the presidents or representatives of other clubs in the Super League. Ali Koç, the president of the Club Association Foundation, announced that he will leave the position to the new president with the election to be held next week, saying, "We need fresh blood now."



Ali Koç, speaking after the meeting, stated that the opinions of everyone who attended the meeting were taken into account regarding the presidency decision and said that the new president will be elected next week.



Regarding the possibility of continuing the presidency, Koç said, "This is my second term. I think we need fresh blood in the Club Association Foundation. That's why we will announce our new president next week."



No name was given for the new president, according to Ali Koç, who said, "It was decided that it would be appropriate not to mention any names we discussed, upon their request."



Hasan Arat, the president of Beşiktaş Club, whose name was mentioned for the presidency of the Club Association Foundation, said in his statement after the meeting, "There were candidates who nominated me, but my priority is Beşiktaş."



Murat Özkaya, the president of Eyüspor, the new team of Trendyol Super League, announced his candidacy for the presidency of the Club Association Foundation. Özkaya, who greeted the press members during his entrance to the Club Association Foundation meeting, answered the question "Will you run for the presidency of the Club Association?" with "Of course..." Özkaya is also a member of Galatasaray Club.
