The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency has announced its weekly data. According to this, loans and deposits have increased, while credit card expenditures have decreased. Notably, there has been an increase in the number of non-performing loans.
The Banking Regulation and Supervision Agency (BRSA) announced its weekly data. The data covering the week ending February 21 includes current figures on credit usage, overdue receivables, and credit card usage. Accordingly, while there was a decline in credit card usage this week, the increase in the number of overdue credit cards was considered an important development in the economy and finance world.
THE SIZE OF USED CREDITS REACHED 16 TRILLION 690 BILLION LIRA
Credits increased from 16 trillion 663.5 billion TL to 16 trillion 690.9 billion TL, while deposits rose from 19 trillion 702.9 billion TL to 19 trillion 871.2 billion TL.
Consumer loans increased from 2 trillion 90.9 billion TL to 2 trillion 92.9 billion TL, while individual credit cards decreased from 1 trillion 869.6 billion TL to 1 trillion 875.3 billion TL.
Overdue receivables rose from 324 billion TL to 328.8 billion TL.
