Pointing out that in Turkey last month, there were 197 thousand 552 aircraft traffic, including 78 thousand 590 domestic flights and 80 thousand 760 international flights, Uraloğlu stated that there was a 5.1% increase in aircraft traffic served in October compared to the same month of 2023. PASSENGER NUMBERS INCREASED BY 4.5% IN THE LAST YEARUraloğlu noted that in October, 7 million 814 thousand 353 passengers were served on domestic flights, 13 million 161 thousand 534 on international flights, and together with transit passengers, a total of 20 million 986 thousand 604 passengers were served, stating, "Our passenger numbers increased by 4.5% compared to the same month of 2023. The amount of cargo and freight transported at our airports reached 450 thousand 88 tons in October, with 76 thousand 580 tons on domestic flights and 373 thousand 508 tons on international flights." he said.
This year, in the first 10 months, the number of aircraft taking off and landing at airports was reported as 765 thousand 784 on domestic flights and 749 thousand 874 on international flights, Uraloğlu drew attention to the fact that the total aircraft traffic, including overflights, was 1 million 950 thousand 53.

The number of passengers served increased by 5.2% on domestic flights, 8.8% on international flights, and the total passenger traffic increased by 7.2% compared to the same period last year.

The passenger traffic was 1 million 603 thousand 995 on domestic flights and 1 million 876 thousand 640 on international flights, totaling 3 million 480 thousand 635. Total passenger traffic showed a 6% increase compared to the same month of 2023. In the January-October period, 92 thousand 511 on domestic flights and 107 thousand 953 on international flights, totaling 200 thousand 464 aircraft were served. Uraloğlu pointed out that at this airport, 16 million 365 thousand 948 passengers were served on domestic flights and 18 million 86 thousand 385 on international flights, totaling 34 million 452 thousand 333 passengers, stating that passenger traffic increased by 12% in October. Uraloğlu recorded the following: In the 10-month period, 9 million 854 thousand 587 passengers were served at Izmir Adnan Menderes Airport, 35 million 504 thousand 351 at Antalya Airport, and 5 million 440 thousand 614 at Muğla Dalaman Airport. At Muğla Milas-Bodrum Airport, a total of 4 million 154 thousand 250 passengers were served, and at Gazipaşa Alanya Airport, a total of 960 thousand 464 passengers were recorded.
