Galatasaray has reached an important stage in the transfer of star striker Victor Osimhen, whom they have wanted to add to their squad for a long time, with Napoli. The transfer is nearly complete, with the only remaining issue being the determination of the percentage to be received from a future sale.
Galatasaray, the Super League giant trying to sign the world-famous super striker Victor Osimhen, has largely agreed with the Italian club Napoli.
According to a report by Sky Sports, Galatasaray is preparing to provide the necessary financial guarantee for the Osimhen transfer. In this regard, a short extension was requested from Napoli to present the bank guarantee.
PAYMENT PLAN HAS EVEN BEEN CLARIFIED
According to information shared by Fabrizio Romano, Galatasaray has agreed to pay the transfer fee in two installments. Initially, 40 million euros will be paid immediately for Osimhen. A further 35 million euros will be transferred to Napoli's account one year later. Additionally, the parties agreed that Osimhen would not be sold to any Italian club within two years after the transfer. It was reported that a penalty would be applied in case of violation of this clause.
ISSUE WITH THE SALE SHARE
In the final stage of the transfer, the parties could not reach an agreement only on the share to be taken from future sales. According to Matteo Moretto's report, Napoli is demanding a 10% share from the player's future transfer, while Galatasaray suggests that this rate should be determined as 10% only on the profit. The parties are continuing their discussions on this matter.
