In the Muratpaşa district of Antalya, 84-year-old Suzan Demir fell from her apartment on the eighth floor and lost her life. At the time of the incident, the elderly woman's husband, who was watching television at home, was informed by the police that his wife had died.
A heartbreaking incident occurred around 11:30 PM in a site located on 4th Avenue in the Meltem neighborhood of Muratpaşa district in Antalya.
ELDERLY WOMAN FALLS FROM EIGHTH FLOOR AND DIES
According to the information obtained, neighbors who saw a person on the outdoor unit of the air conditioner on the 8th floor of the 9-story apartment in the site immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center after witnessing the fall. Police and medical teams were dispatched to the scene upon the notification. Medical teams determined that the individual who fell from the 8th floor to the ground had lost their life.
In the investigation conducted by the Homicide Bureau of the Antalya Police Department's Public Security Branch, it was determined that the deceased individual was 74-year-old Suzan Demir, who resided on the 8th floor of the apartment.
POLICE INFORMED HER HUSBAND OF THE DEATH
Demir's husband, who was watching television at home during the incident, learned about his wife's death from the police and medical teams. It was reported that Demir suffered from advanced Alzheimer's disease, and her lifeless body was taken to the Antalya Forensic Medicine Institute morgue after the work of the prosecutor's office and the crime scene investigation team.
