Minister Saar, who wants the operation to come to an end, emphasized the importance of protecting minorities in Syria and claimed that it is the international community's obligation to stand against the PKK/YPG.
The Israeli government was disturbed by the operation carried out by the Syrian National Army (SNA) against the PKK/YPG, a terrorist organization supported by the USA, in Manbij.
Foreign Minister Gideon Saar answered questions from journalists regarding the agenda, particularly about Syria. Saar stated in a post on his social media account that he emphasized "the protection of minorities in Syria" during the press conference.
DISCONTENT WITH THE OPERATION AGAINST THE TERRORIST ORGANIZATION
Saar expressed his discomfort with the operation carried out by the SNA against the terrorist organization in Manbij, stating that he wanted this operation to be "terminated." Saar mentioned that they discussed the operation in Manbij with many countries, primarily the USA.
CLAIMED THEY ENSURED STABILITY
The Israeli Minister claimed that there is an obligation for the international community against the terrorist organization PKK/YPG, which he alleged has "ensured stability" in Syria.

The SNA had launched the Operation Dawn of Freedom against the terrorist organization on December 1, west of the Euphrates River. As part of this operation, the SNA liberated the district of Manbij, which was under the occupation of PKK/YPG, clearing the largest terrorist nest west of the Euphrates River.
