The opponents of Galatasaray and Fenerbahçe, who will represent Turkey in the Champions League, will be determined today. The league phase draw will take place at 19:00 and will be broadcast live on TRT Spor and UEFA TV.
Having completed the 2025-26 season in the Super Lig as champions and earned direct entry to the UEFA Champions League, Galatasaray was joined by Fenerbahce, who advanced to the league stage by eliminating Lyon. All eyes are now on today's draw for our two representatives' opponents in the Champions League.
WHAT TIME IS THE CHAMPIONS LEAGUE DRAW AND ON WHICH CHANNEL?
The UEFA Champions League 2026-27 season league stage draw will take place today (Thursday, August 27) at 19:00 TSI. The draw will be broadcast live on TRT Spor and UEFA TV.
36 TEAMS WILL TAKE PART
A total of 36 teams will compete in the league stage of the Champions League. Each team, including Galatasaray and Fenerbahce, will be drawn against two opponents from each of the four pots, playing a total of 8 matches. Teams will play 4 of these matches at home and 4 away.
TOP 8 ADVANCE DIRECTLY TO THE ROUND OF 16
Teams finishing in the top 8 places in the league stage will advance directly to the round of 16. Teams ranked between 9th and 24th will play in a playoff for a spot in the last 16.
