The bodies of İpek K. and Pınar Albayrak, who lost their lives in a car accident involving a truck in Bolu, have been sent to their hometowns. It has been learned that Pınar Albayrak was the Deputy Chairman of the Power Union Party. The accident occurred yesterday around 19:00 in the vicinity of Hamzabey village on the Anadolu Highway. The car driven by Berat Y. (22), heading towards Ankara, rapidly crashed into the truck driven by Mahmut Ç. that was moving ahead. Due to the force of the impact, the car was totaled, and gendarmerie, health, and fire teams were dispatched to the scene. The driver of the car, Berat Y., escaped the accident unscathed, while his mother İpek K. and Pınar Albayrak lost their lives. The drivers of the vehicles were released after giving their statements to the gendarmerie. ALBAYRAK'S FUNERAL WAS SENT TO GÖLCÜKThe funeral of İpek K., who died in the accident, was sent to her hometown Ankara for burial after the procedures at the morgue, while Pınar Albayrak's funeral was sent to the Gölcük district of Kocaeli. It has been learned that Pınar Albayrak was the Deputy Chairman of the Power Union Party. An investigation into the accident is ongoing.
