WHAT HAPPENED?
Galatasaray faced Adana Demirspor at RAMS Park in the 23rd week of the Super League. The yellow-reds won a penalty in the 11th minute when Mertens was brought down in the penalty area. Although the visiting team protested this penalty intensely, the decision was not changed. In the 12th minute, Alvaro Morata, who took the penalty, scored to put his team ahead 1-0. The match continued with the home team's dominance, but in the 30th minute, Yusuf Barasi fell to the ground due to injury without the ball. During this time, a discussion took place between the Adana Demirspor players and head coach Mustafa Alper Avcı. After this discussion, in the 34th minute, captain Semih Güler called out to his teammates, "We are withdrawing from the match," and they headed towards the corridor. Subsequently, the referee team also went to the locker room. Approximately 25 minutes later, it was announced in the stadium that the Galatasaray-Adana Demirspor match was suspended by referee Oğuzhan Çakır.
