The permission for the DEM Party's visit to İmralı has been granted: The names in the delegation have also been revealed.

The words of MHP General Chairman Devlet Bahçeli regarding İmralı, which he used in his party's group meetings, continue to keep the political agenda heated. Bahçeli stated that the DEM Party should establish contact with the terrorist leader Abdullah Öcalan and expressed that the 40-year-long terrorism issue should come to an end.

Following Bahçeli's call, the DEM Party requested permission from the Ministry of Justice to go to İmralı. Justice Minister Yılmaz Tunç stated in his latest announcement that they are evaluating the request and conveyed the message that the meeting could take place after the completion of the discussions on the 2025 budget.

According to a report by Sabah, it was claimed that a response to the DEM Party's application for İmralı came after the budget discussions concluded last week.

MEETING TODAY OR TOMORROW

It has been learned that a positive response was given to the DEM Party's request and that the meeting will take place today or tomorrow. It was also noted that if weather conditions are not suitable, another date for the meeting may be considered.

NAMES GOING TO İMRALI HAVE BEEN ANNOUNCED

The names that will be part of the delegation going to İmralı from the DEM Party have also been announced. DEM Party's Deputy Speaker of the Grand National Assembly Sırrı Süreyya Önder and Van Deputy Pervin Buldan will conduct the meeting.
