In Aksaray, health and rescue teams sprang into action for a citizen whose whereabouts were unknown, and just as the door was about to be opened to enter the apartment, the citizen who opened the door scolded the teams that were fighting for him, saying, "Is lying down a problem too, like a pickpocket?" The incident occurred in the 7th apartment on the 3rd floor of the Çelik Apartment on 1050 Street in the Çerdiğin neighborhood at midnight. According to the information obtained, residents of the building, who smelled gas inside the building and in the apartments, knocked on the door of a person named H.M.A., who lives in the apartment on the 3rd floor, the only one using natural gas in the building. THEY SUSPECTED SOMETHING HAD HAPPENED TO HIMNeighbors knocked on the door insistently for minutes, but when there was no answer, their concerns grew, and suspecting that something might have happened to the person living alone in the apartment, they immediately reported the situation to the 112 Emergency Call Center. Upon the notification, police, fire brigade, Provincial Disaster and Emergency Management (AFAD), Chemical, Biological, Radiological and Nuclear Threats (CBRN), natural gas emergency, and health teams were dispatched to the scene. THE HOUSE KEYS WERE BROUGHTIn the report where all teams were almost on alert, the teams quickly arrived at the scene and started working. While police teams took security measures around the area, AFAD, CBRN, and natural gas emergency teams conducted gas measurements in the building and the apartment. In the mobilization where health and fire teams were kept on standby, as the teams could not get news from the person, the homeowner was contacted, and the house keys were brought. "IS LYING DOWN A PROBLEM TOO?"After the gas measurement was conducted, police teams first opened the iron door of the apartment with double doors, and then, while trying to open the wooden frame of the apartment, H.M.A., who lives there, opened the door. Upon the person opening the door, both the neighbors and the teams breathed a sigh of relief, while despite the police teams explaining the situation to the person, the irritated homeowner scolded all the teams that had mobilized for him, saying, "We came for you," and added, "Is lying down a problem too? There’s nothing coming. I was sleepless, I lay down, what’s wrong with that, what’s the problem? Like a pickpocket."
