Bulut Altuğ, a social media influencer known as "Gaga Bulut," was arrested and subsequently detained on charges of promoting illegal betting sites through sharing enticing advertisements.
Imprisoned for previously making boys kiss and arrested the other day for sharing encouraging advertisements of illegal betting websites and claiming to have made players win, social media influencer Gaga Bulut, also known as Gaga Cloud, has been arrested.
HE HAD ADVERTISED BETTING WEBSITES
Coordinated by Karşıyaka Republic Prosecutor's Office, the Cyber Crimes Unit of İzmir Police Department detained Bulut Altuğ, a 27-year-old social media influencer using the account name "Gaga Bulut," at his address in Karşıyaka district as part of the efforts to prevent the crime of "Illegal Betting." It was stated that Altuğ was found to have promoted various internet sites known for illegal betting by sharing encouraging advertisements of these sites on his social media accounts and thus attracting players to these betting sites.
SENT TO PRISON
It was learned that necessary actions have been initiated to seize the proceeds obtained from this crime as a basis for the upcoming investigation. After completing the procedures at the police station, Bulut Altuğ was sent to the courthouse and then arrested and sent to prison.
PREVIOUSLY ARRESTED
In the past, the suspect was investigated for crimes such as Insulting the President, Defaming State Institutions, Blackmail, Obscenity, Child Sexual Abuse, and Violation of Privacy. Bulut Altuğ was arrested on December 30, 2022, for opening a channel on the social media application called Telegram and sharing sexually explicit videos, as well as extorting money from the individuals in the videos in exchange for removing the images, and remained in custody for a while.
