The photo of the informant who buried Narin Güran in the river has emerged.

The confession of N.B., who admitted to leaving Narin's lifeless body in the riverbed in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır in exchange for money, was investigated at the crime scene. Additionally, N.B.'s photo also emerged.

CONFESSION, EVERYTHING WAS REVEALED

Narin Güran, 8 years old, whose lifeless body was found in the riverbed 19 days after she went missing in Bağlar district of Diyarbakır, was buried in her village today. As part of the investigation into the incident, 25 people, including family members, were detained, and consecutive confessions were made regarding Salim Güran, the imprisoned uncle, by the secret witness.

PHOTO EMERGED

The confessing N.B. explained in detail how he left Narin's lifeless body in the riverbed. N.B., who was found to be a plasterer, conducted an inspection at the crime scene under the supervision of the prosecutor. N.B. also emerged in a photo.

"SALIM GÜRAN OFFERED ME 200 THOUSAND LIRAS"

The suspect, who was detained after it was determined that he went to the riverside with his vehicle, said during interrogation, "The mayor (Narin's uncle) gave me the body in a sack. I took the sack and took it to the river." The secret witness also stated that the uncle offered him 200 thousand TL to get rid of the body. The secret witness, who said that he went home and prayed after disposing of the body, confessed that Salim Güran participated in the search operations as a show under his guidance.

"I WENT HOME AND PRAYED"

The secret witness described what happened after burying the body in the riverbed as follows: "There was movement in the village, my own mother and wife were looking for Narin Güran, they told me. I didn't say anything about the incident I mentioned earlier when I entered the house, I prayed inside the house and then joined the search for Narin Güran without eating. The gendarmerie arrived in the village around 21:00-22:00. We conducted search operations in the village. I don't remember if I saw Mayor Salim Güran with the gendarmerie on August 21, 2024. I continued searching for Narin Güran until 22:30 that day, then I went home and slept around 23:30."

"SALIM WAS PRETENDING TO SEARCH"

"On August 22, 2024, I woke up around 05:00. When I talked to my wife in the morning, I learned that they had been searching for Narin Güran until 03:00. Mayor Salim Güran was searching as if nothing had happened with the gendarmerie between 07:00-08:00, I even saw Salim Güran entering the canal and searching while we were searching around the canal. Salim Güran was pretending to search every day with the gendarmerie. Later, it didn't occur to me to surrender to the gendarmerie because I didn't kill anyone."

"HE SAID I WILL GIVE YOU 200 THOUSAND LIRAS"

"I met Salim Gürhan on the inner road of Akkedüşeli Village, which goes from the cemetery to Tavşantepe Neighborhood. I waited, thinking he would say something about drinking water. Then the mayor got out of the car and came to me. I also got out of the car. Then he showed me something wrapped in a blanket on the front seat of the car and said, 'You will get rid of this.' When I approached what he showed me and looked, I saw that there was a motionless person lying in the blanket. I was surprised and hesitated when I saw that it was a person, Salim Gürhan. Address me, think about your family well. He said, 'I will give you 200 thousand liras.' Of course, there was no one around us at that time.

"THERE WAS REDNESS BEHIND THE RIGHT EAR, IN THE NECK AREA"

Then he asked me if there was a bag in my car. I couldn't remember the color of the trunk of the car, so I took out a sack that I didn't remember and gave it to Salim. We put the child wrapped in a blanket into the sack together. At this time, the child had a black t-shirt and shorts on. There was a small bag hanging on him. There was redness behind his right ear and in the neck area.

"THE CHILD FIT INTO THE BAG COMPLETELY"

After placing the child in the sack, I put the sack in the back seat of my car where the foot mat was without tying the mouth of the sack there. He told me to take it to the Eğritutmaz Stream, which we call the lake. When I left, I didn't look at what Salim Gürhan was doing. I directly went to the villas area after passing by the cemetery. While driving on the road, I regretted it, but I thought I had to get rid of the things I took. I stopped my car by the side of the stream after going down the stabilized road next to the stream. I took the sack out of my car and held it in my hand. The child's whole body fit into the sack.

"THE SIZE OF THE STONE WAS AROUND 15-20 KILOS"

I don't remember if the child's foot was cut or not because I was very anxious. On September 8, I went down to the place where Narin Gürhan was found and looked for a rope. When I couldn't find a rope, I remembered the rope of the child's bag. I untied the rope of the bag and tied the mouth of the sack. I found a place near a tree that was not very deep. There was some water here. I put the sack into the throat. I thought someone would find the sack, so I put a stone on it. The size of the stone was around 15-20 kilos. There were also stones next to it. I didn't put any bushes on it because it was covered. After that, I left and got into my car. After leaving the stabilized road, I went to my sister-in-law's house."

STATEMENT TAKEN AT THE CRIME SCENE

N.B., the confessing suspect, was brought to the place where the body was found by the gendarmerie after his statement. N.B. was questioned here under the supervision of the gendarmerie.

WHAT HAPPENED?

On August 21, Narin Güran, who went to the Quran course in Tavşantepe Neighborhood of Bağlar district, did not return home after the course, so her family searched for her on their own. When the search was unsuccessful, Narin's father, Arif Güran, searched for her on the same day at 20:00.

While the search was ongoing, as part of the investigation, Narin Güran's brother E. G. (18) was detained due to bite marks on his arm. After the examination at the Istanbul Forensic Medicine Institute, when it could not be determined whether the bite marks belonged to Narin or not, E. G. was released.

Then Narin's uncle, who is also the headman of the rural Tavşantepe neighborhood, Salim Güran, was detained. Salim Güran, whose DNA samples taken from his car matched the DNA samples on Narin's clothes, was arrested for "intentional homicide" and "deprivation of liberty".

The teams, who had previously focused on the searched areas again, conducted a search in the Eğertutmaz Stream, located 2 kilometers away from the neighborhood, and Narin's lifeless body was found on the 19th day. It was determined that Narin was killed and then thrown into the stream in a sack, with stones placed on top of her.
