The practice of cafes and restaurants requesting a 'deposit' for reservations has spread to many businesses, while customers are complaining about this application.

Some cafes and restaurants are increasingly adopting the practice of requesting a "deposit" for reservations. This practice has become applicable not only for special occasions but also for ordinary days. While businesses prefer this method to ensure guaranteed income, it is drawing reactions from customers.

STARTING FROM 500 LIRA

Cafes and restaurants implementing this practice are charging a fixed fee of 500 lira per person for reservations. Some businesses collect the total amount of the selected menu in advance; however, in case of cancellation, most businesses do not refund the collected fee.
