The President of the Turkish Football Federation, İbrahim Hacıosmanoğlu, visited Samsunspor, one of the teams in the Trendyol Super League, and had a meeting with the president of the red-and-white team, Yüksel Yıldırım. Hacıosmanoğlu made striking statements at the Nuri Asan Facilities.

"TURKEY'S ESCAPE FROM THE FOREIGN TRASH DEPENDS ON YOUTH DEVELOPMENT"

Emphasizing that they want peace and brotherhood to be at the forefront in football, Hacıosmanoğlu stated, "We want to be a good example for our youth. Our president Yüksel Yıldırım is also making beautiful investments here and prioritizing youth development. We believe that escaping Turkey's foreign trash starts from the investment in football's youth development and the training of young players. Therefore, I congratulate the President. We also have nationwide efforts regarding this issue. We will carry them out comprehensively in collaboration with the ministries. My dear President said, 'It would be good if you choose us as a pilot region.'" he evaluated.

"YOU CANNOT RISE BY FIGHTING"

Pointing out that there is no problem between Samsun and Trabzon, Hacıosmanoğlu continued as follows;

"There is no situation where there is a problem between Trabzon and Samsun. I will wear the Samsunspor jersey and watch the match among the Samsunspor fans. Moreover, I went to Diyarbakır to watch a match. Let's change this climate. Last week, we had a three-hour meeting with the presidents of the four big clubs. We cannot increase brand value by fighting. There are examples of this in Europe. Actually, we are partners; there is a company. Everyone is a shareholder of the company, but on the weekend, we are rivals on the field. The teams that will compete will play on the field, and the deserving will win, but after the match, you cannot grow a company, a partnership by fighting; you cannot increase brand value. Because this vicious cycle has continued for years, Turkish football has dropped from 500 million dollars in broadcasting revenue to 80; today it is 180, but our goal is to develop brotherhood and increase brand value. Why can't it rise to 1 billion instead of 500? We will work hand in hand to take Turkish football to this point."

"UEFA SENT THE BEST REFEREE INSTRUCTOR"

Hacıosmanoğlu expressed that they will make innovations that will increase the time the ball stays in play and enhance the brand value of football, saying, "We requested from UEFA President Aleksander Čeferin, and he sent the best referee instructor in Europe. He has started working in our federation. Black does not become white instantly. There is a 20-30 year accumulation here. Right now, we have young, bright referees. We will raise them with character and ethics. The deficiencies will be completed over time. Of course, the performance of referees on the field is also very important for the quality of football. We need time. Over time, we will correct these issues hand in hand with our clubs." he stated.
