The Private Public Buses (ÖHO) in Istanbul have shut down. The owners of ÖHO, which are affiliated with the Istanbul Electric Tramway and Tunnel Operations General Directorate (IETT), announced the decision through their social media accounts. The reason for the decision was stated as the non-payment of dues by IETT. At 8:00 PM yesterday, 3,041 ÖHO owners who shut down their buses expressed that they would hold a press conference in front of the municipal building in Saraçhane today. "LET İBB OPERATE" In the press statement made by the ÖHO drivers, it was stated, "We cannot buy fuel because İBB has not made our payments. All buses that finish their work on December 2 will be pulled in front of Saraçhane. We have no money, no fuel. The public should not suffer. Let İBB operate."
