The application process has officially started for the İŞKUR Youth Program, which President Erdoğan announced after the Cabinet Meeting. In the program, whose quota has been increased to 150,000, the support to be provided to students at 1,375 TL per day will reach 19,250 TL per month.
President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan addressed the nation at the Presidential Complex after the Cabinet Meeting. Making important statements, President Erdoğan also spoke about the İŞKUR Youth Program.
Noting that one of the topics discussed at the meeting was the İŞKUR Youth Program launched last year, Erdoğan said they attached great importance to young people getting to know working life while continuing their education, gaining experience and preparing better for the future. Erdoğan reported that young people showed great interest in the İŞKUR Youth Program they launched for this purpose.
"STUDENTS WHO ATTEND 14 DAYS A MONTH WILL BE ABLE TO RECEIVE SUPPORT OF UP TO 19,250 LIRA"
Erdoğan, who stated that the number of young people who have benefited from the program to date has approached 220,000, noted the following:
"These young friends both gained experience and earned a certain amount of income. We do not leave this interest of our young people unanswered. Now we are taking another new step. We are increasing the quota for the program's 2026-2027 period to 150,000. Within the scope of the program, our young people will be paid 1,375 lira per day. Our students who attend 14 days a month will be able to receive support of up to 19,250 lira."
Erdoğan also stated that the state would cover young people's insurance premiums, and added that under certain conditions, a 1,250-lira promotion and special discount opportunities in various expenses would be offered.
Saying, "With the production age of youth, that is, our power initiative, we aim to reach 3 million young people in 3 years," Erdoğan stated that they aim for 1 million university students to benefit from the İŞKUR Youth Program by the end of 2028.
Emphasizing that, in defiance of those who try to make young people a tool for their personal ambitions, they will continue to increase their support for young people's education, employment and future, Erdoğan said: "We will not abandon our young people to the ambitions of marginal structures, terrorist organizations or careerist politicians. I wish this good news to be auspicious for all our young people, their families and our universities."
APPLICATIONS FOR THE NEW TERM OF THE İŞKUR YOUTH PROGRAM ARE STARTING
Minister of Labour and Social Security Vedat Işıkhan said, "Applications for the new term of our İŞKUR Youth Program are starting. Our quota: 150,000 university students."
