The question that implicated the mother in the murder of Narin Güran.

In the Tavşantepe neighborhood of the Bağlar district in the center of Diyarbakır, the investigation into the murder of Narin Güran, who went missing on August 21 and whose lifeless body was found in the Eğertutmaz Stream on September 8, has been completed. The 12-page indictment prepared by the Diyarbakır Chief Public Prosecutor's Office has been submitted to the Diyarbakır 8th High Criminal Court.

CHILLING DETAILS IN THE INDICTMENT

In the indictment, which requests aggravated life imprisonment for uncle Salim Güran, mother Yüksel Güran, brother Enes Güran, and the informant known as Nevzat Bahtiyar for the crime of "intentional murder of a child in participation," chilling details were included. The indictment containing HTS records revealed that the uncle, mother, brother, and informant acted together and were present at the crime scene. Additionally, information indicating that those in the village were aware of the incident was also included in the indictment.

It was stated in the indictment that an expert was appointed to determine the exact locations of the suspects by utilizing HTS and base station records, and that the relevant expert personally went to the Tavşantepe neighborhood to conduct physical measurements with the gendarmerie personnel at the locations where the incident occurred, identifying the main and intermediate base stations providing service, and a report was prepared as a result of the measurements and base station identification.

THEY WERE LOCATED STEP BY STEP ON THAT DAY

Regarding the report prepared, the indictment recorded the following: "In the HTS records concerning the suspects, on the day of the incident, mother Yüksel Güran was at her residence when her phone was turned off at 14:28, and was again at her residence when her phone was turned on at 15:38; brother Enes Güran was at his residence when his phone was turned off at 14:30, and was again at his residence when his phone was turned on at 15:41; uncle Salim Güran left his residence around 14:52, was near Arif Güran's residence until 15:19, moved to the area near the barn at 15:20, and was at Arif's house and its annex until 16:10; Nevzat Bahtiyar left his residence after speaking on the phone with Salim Güran at 15:08, was near Arif's residence, arrived at Arif's house around 15:27, was at Arif's residence until 15:35, and then left, and it was determined that he was at the location where Narin's body was found around 16:00, leading to the conclusion that Salim Güran and Nevzat Bahtiyar acted together before and after the day of the incident."

NEVZAT BAHTIYAR LEFT THE BODY IN THE STREAM

In the indictment, it was stated that in order to clearly determine the location where Narin Güran's lifeless body was found, priority was given to camera recordings generally belonging to 18:40 and later based on the statements taken from the family. It was noted that considering the family's attitude and behavior at the stage the file had reached, the clearest last image of Narin was determined to be from the camera of Tavşantepe Primary School, and the indictment recorded the following:

"Against the clear determination that Narin Güran headed towards the path leading to her residence at 15:11 on August 21, all other recordings and evidence were re-examined, and when focusing on the time after this hour, it was determined that a suspicious vehicle entered the camera angle belonging to a farm located on the opposite side of Tavşantepe neighborhood at 15:41 on the same day, and the vehicle stopped on the dirt road near the Eğertutmaz Stream around 15:44. According to the camera time, it was determined that the vehicle left the vicinity of the Eğertutmaz Stream 38 minutes and 11 seconds later, and that the vehicle was red in color. Following the tracking of the camera recordings, it was clearly established that the vehicle was the one used by Nevzat Bahtiyar."

DISPUTE AMONG WOMEN

On the day the lifeless body of Narin was found, it was noted in the indictment that security measures continued to be taken in the area where the residences were located. During this time, a dispute occurred among women in the area where Narin's house was located. The indictment included the following information regarding the dispute: Melike Güran addressed the crowd saying, "We didn't do anything." Maşallah Güran shouted, "Everyone knows everything, don't make me speak," while facing Melek Güran, who is Salim Güran's wife. Birsen Güran shouted at Narin's mother, Yüksel Güran, saying, "Did we do it? You're coming at us," and Remziye Çabaş and Yasemin Gül shouted, "If you had spoken the truth, it wouldn't have come to this stage." It was also recorded that Nesrin Güran shouted towards Narin's mother, Yüksel Güran.

DETAIL THAT TURNED SUSPICIONS TO ENES GÜRAN

The indictment also included a striking detail regarding brother Enes Güran. It was stated that the phone call records of Enes Güran, who is detained in the Diyarbakır Type T Closed Penal Institution No. 1, were also examined, and the following information was provided: "In the examination and review conducted by our Chief Public Prosecutor's Office regarding numerous phone calls and the records of the closed meeting, during a phone call on September 17 between Enes and his younger brother, he stated, 'Abican, don't talk to anyone, take care of yourself,' and during a conversation with his brother Baran Güran, he asked several times, 'Did the report come?' referring to the forensic report, and in one of his conversations, he asked his brother, 'Narin used my toothbrush, could anything come out of it?'

QUESTION THAT GAVE AWAY YÜKSEL GÜRAN

The indictment also included a dialogue that took place with detained mother Yüksel Güran. The section in the indictment reads as follows: "On September 2, when the investigations were ongoing, during a dialogue between Yüksel Güran, Narin's mother, and female gendarmerie personnel, it was suggested to the mother that it would be beneficial to inform if she had any information that could help find her daughter. Observations indicated that although Narin had not yet been found, she was almost certain that her daughter was dead, and while she was saddened by her daughter's situation, she was trying to protect her son Enes, exhibiting anxious behavior, and stated, 'I want Narin to be found, what can I do for my son Enes?'"
