It was stated in the indictment that an investigation was initiated ex officio after a video recording of Gökhan İn being threatened with payment by H.C.Ş., who was in the management of the same club, was shared on social media. H.C.Ş. claimed that they filmed the video together to portray themselves as victims, asserting that it was purely staged and that he did not insult with the intent of robbery. The indictment included the following statements: "The unknown perpetrator communicated threats to the complainant and stated that he needed to pay 150,000 lira as a penalty. Although he mentioned filming a staged video, it was understood that the video was actually recorded to show and document that the complainant was being threatened by the unknown perpetrator, and that the complainant was forced to allow the video to be filmed as requested by suspect H.C.Ş. It has been understood that the complainant has been under the threat of an attack directed at him for a long time and that suspect H.C.Ş. was part of the possible attack and threat. When all these matters are evaluated together, it has been understood that suspect H.C.Ş. insulted with the intent to participate with the unknown perpetrator or perpetrators and that he participated in the crimes committed as a joint perpetrator in accordance with Article 37/1 of the Turkish Penal Code." TRIAL TO BEGIN IN NOVEMBERThe indictment stated that suspect S.İ. claimed that his actions were limited to filming a video at the request of the parties, and it recorded: "The complainant's statements that the video would not be sent to anyone by the unknown perpetrator, knowing who the unknown perpetrator was and why he was threatened, and that on the day of the incident, suspect H.C.Ş. went to the complainant with this knowledge and they filmed the video together, when evaluated together, it has been understood that S.İ. insulted with the intent to commit the same crime as H.C.Ş. and the unknown perpetrator, that he was present there to commit the same crime with H.C.Ş. on the day of the incident, and that he had knowledge of all events and actions, and that he exercised actual control over the crime committed by H.C.Ş. It has been understood that S.İ. participated in the crimes committed as a joint perpetrator in accordance with Article 37/1 of the Turkish Penal Code." The indictment requests prison sentences of 2 years and 6 months to 11 years and 3 months for the crime of "attempted qualified robbery," 1 to 3 years for the crime of "recording personal data," and 2 to 4 years for the crime of "illegally providing or seizing personal data" against suspects H.C.Ş. and S.İ.
