As a result of the investigations, it was determined that the restaurant where the explosion occurred had been operating without a license for 11 months. It was learned that the business had been operating in this way for 11 months.

2 PEOPLE ARRESTED

As part of the investigation conducted by the Torbalı Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, the procedures of the restaurant owner G.K. and M.K., who changed the gas cylinder of the establishment, were completed at the Provincial Gendarmerie Command. After health checks, the suspects were sent to the courthouse and were arrested by the peace criminal judge they were referred to.

STATEMENTS REVEALED

According to the statement of the restaurant owner G.K., he said that the gas cylinder was changed on Saturday afternoon, the business was open until 02:00 in the morning, they did not smell any gas odor, he did not know the cause of the explosion, and he was sorry. It was stated that M.K. claimed that he performed the gas cylinder replacement procedure properly, conducted leakage control, and said that he was sorry.
