The heavy rain that occurred in Bursa in the morning turned the streets into a river. Those who set out to go to work had difficult moments in their cars and shuttle buses. The downpour affected life negatively in the city center, especially in the Mudanya district and some neighborhoods on the slopes of Uludağ. Due to the floodwaters reaching the same level as the sidewalks in Mudanya, the streets turned into a lake, and those who left home in the morning to go to work had difficult moments in their cars and public transportation vehicles. CHAIRS, LOGS WERE SWEPT AWAY BY THE WATERIn Güzelyalı neighborhood, many side streets turned into a river, causing traffic congestion on Bursa-Mudanya Avenue. In Osmangazi district, the floodwaters coming from the mountains caused difficult moments for shopkeepers on Seyid'i Nasır Street in İvazpaşa neighborhood at the foot of Uludağ. Chairs and logs placed in front of the shops on the street that turned into a river were swept away by the water. Citizens struggled to prevent water from entering their workplaces. The floodwaters flowing from the walls of Atatürk's house in Çekirge neighborhood also turned into a waterfall. Those moments were recorded by citizens with their mobile phones.
