NO LOSS OF LIFE REPORTED

After the malfunction, the rocket rose into the sky and crashed in the hilly region of Gongyi shortly after. Space Pioneer reported that no loss of life was reported after the initial investigation.

In a statement by the emergency management of Gongyi, it was reported that a fire broke out in the area where the rocket stages fell and the flames were extinguished. Rockets consist of several stages, and the first or bottom stage is ignited and launched to propel the rocket upwards. When the fuel is depleted, the first stage falls and the second stage is ignited to keep the rocket in motion.
