According to the news on Show Haber; the salary in this profession is high, but there is also a significant personnel shortage. Because it is not easy to find a tower crane operator. Site chief Bektaş Açıkgöz stated, "We cannot hire individuals who do not have an operator's certificate and have not completed this training. They cannot operate the crane. Not everyone can use it, which is why it is not easily found, and we are having a bit of difficulty in finding them."

Speaking about tower crane operator salaries, Açıkgöz said, "Currently, the salary for tower crane operators is in the range of 70,000 to 90,000." When asked, "Aren't you afraid?" a tower crane operator replied, "We are used to it, so we are not afraid."

"TRAINING IS PROVIDED BY DRIVING SCHOOLS"

The tower crane operator, who explained what needs to be done to perform this job, said, "It is definitely necessary to receive training; nothing can be done without training. The training is provided by driving schools." Regarding how much crane operators earn, he stated, "I haven't seen 90,000; there are those who do. 70,000 - 80,000," he said.
