The Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality hired 105 employees as a result of a lottery.

The lottery draw for the recruitment of a total of 105 personnel, including 100 laborers and plumbers, and 5 office staff (female) to be hired by ŞANBEL Energy Inc., which is under the Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality, was held in the presence of a notary. Among 2,340 candidates who met the application requirements for the recruitment of 105 personnel to be employed for a period of 10 months, 105 individuals were determined by the drawn lottery.

Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Mayor Mehmet Kasım, ŞUSKİ General Manager Emin İzol, and ŞANBEL General Manager İbrahim Kaymaz attended the lottery draw program. Speaking at the lottery draw where the worker recruitments took place, Şanlıurfa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Gülpınar emphasized once again the importance of a transparent and fair recruitment process.

Mayor Mehmet Kasım Gülpınar stated that these personnel recruitments aim to meet the expectations of both the Municipality and the citizens, saying, "Today, we are taking another important step to further advance the development and service quality of our Şanlıurfa. We are together in the lottery draw where we will determine our 105 new colleagues who will serve in drinking water, sewage, maintenance-repair, and other critical services of our ŞUSKİ General Directorate. The personnel recruitment to be carried out through ŞANBEL Energy Inc. is a significant step towards meeting the expectations of both our municipality and our people. As the Metropolitan Municipality, we are always on the side of justice and transparency. Just like all our previous personnel recruitments, we ensure fairness and equality with the lottery conducted in the presence of a notary in this recruitment as well. The lottery draw is a step we take for justice and fairness, and today we are implementing this in the best way possible," he said.

Mayor Gülpınar emphasized the importance of the recruitment of 5 female personnel as office staff, stating, "We are particularly proud to have included women employees in the office staff positions. Strengthening the place of women in the workforce and integrating their labor into our municipal services is very valuable to us," he said.
