A 1-year-old baby named Altay Toprak Kınalı lost his life. The mother and father, along with some citizens, were also hospitalized. Little Altay Toprak was laid to rest with tears after the funeral ceremony held at Kahramanlar Mosque. A university student living in the apartment above where the pest control was conducted was also poisoned and was discharged after treatment at the hospital. 2 PEOPLE ARRESTEDIn the investigations conducted by the Homicide Bureau of the Public Security Branch, the Crime Analysis Bureau, and the Konak District Police Department, it was determined that Agricultural Engineer B.Ö (47), who was involved in the pest control at the residence, used harmful substances to human health, and this was the cause of the incident. The engineer B.Ö (47), along with his assistants E.G and E.G who facilitated the process, were taken into custody. After the procedures at the Homicide Bureau today, the suspect E.G was released under judicial control, while B.Ö and E.G were arrested and taken to prison.
