The scene turned into a battlefield in a chain accident! Three people from the same family lost their lives.

In a chain traffic accident that occurred in Niğde, 3 people from the same family lost their lives, and 4 people were seriously injured. It was stated that the accident involved a car, a truck, and a trailer.

CAR COLLIDED WITH TRUCK

The accident occurred around 23:40 on the D-750 highway in the Darboğaz area between Pozantı and Ulukışla. The car with license plate 01 PF 509, driven by Mehmet Yaşar Kılınç, collided with the truck with license plate 01 Y 2868, driven by H.K.; and the trailer with license plate 20 LJ 016, driven by Ü.Ç., collided with the truck.

3 PEOPLE FROM THE SAME FAMILY LOST THEIR LIVES

Upon the notification of the accident, numerous gendarmerie, AFAD, fire brigade, and medical teams were dispatched to the scene. Mehmet Yaşar Kılınç, the driver of the car, and his wife Vesile Kılınç (57) and their daughter Ebru Kılınç lost their lives in the accident. Their children, Eymen and Ekim Kılınç, who were seriously injured, and the truck driver Ü.Ç. and another person in the truck were transported to hospitals after the intervention of the medical teams at the scene.

GOVERNOR ÇELİK: 2 OF OUR INJURED ARE IN CRITICAL CONDITION

Niğde Governor Cahit Çelik, along with the Provincial Police Chief Adnan Özdemir, came to the scene and received information from Ulukışla District Governor Yunus Köse. Governor Çelik, who made a statement at the scene of the accident, expressed his condolences to those who lost their lives in the accident and stated that the 4 injured individuals were taken to hospitals. Governor Çelik said, "From the very beginning of the incident, we immediately directed the gendarmerie, police, health, and AFAD teams. Our injured citizens are currently in hospitals. The condition of 2 of our injured is critical, while the condition of the other injured is good. We can transfer our severely injured patients to other hospitals."

LONG VEHICLE QUEUES FORMED ON THE ROAD

After the accident, the road was closed to traffic for a while, causing long vehicle queues. After the removal of the vehicles and the cleaning of the road, the traffic flow on the road was reopened.
