A school principal, accused of harassing a female master instructor in the same vehicle during a driving test in the Alanya district of Antalya, was arrested following the complaint of the woman who filmed the incident. The master instructor, T.E., said, 'I waited for the exam to finish so as not to affect the candidates. We do not want such a person to serve in the education community.'

SCHOOL PRINCIPAL HARASSES EXAMINER IN BACK SEAT
The incident occurred on Sunday, July 25, during a driving test in the Konaklı neighborhood of Alanya. According to the allegation, T.E., who has been working as a master instructor at a driving school in Konaklı for about 3 years, came to the test track in the morning for the driving test. T.E., who was following the candidate's driving test in the back seat of the vehicle along with N.K., who was serving as an examiner during the test, was allegedly subjected to physical harassment during the exam. According to the claim, N.K., who was sitting in the front seat during the morning session, moved to the back seat for the afternoon exams. At that point, T.E. claimed that N.K. began to make physical contact with her.
WAITED FOR THE EXAM TO END, RECORDED VIDEO WITH HER PHONE
Stating that she did not want the candidates to be affected during the exam, T.E. noted that she could not speak out due to what happened, but she secretly turned on her phone's camera to document the harassment allegations and recorded video. After recording approximately 4 minutes of video, T.E. went to the Konaklı Gendarmerie Station following the completion of the exam and filed a complaint against N.K. The woman also submitted the video recording she had prepared as evidence to the gendarmerie teams. Following the complaint, the investigation revealed that N.K. has been serving as a principal at a school in Alanya since 2024. It was learned that N.K. was suspended from duty within the scope of the administrative investigation initiated.
"I DIDN'T KNOW WHAT TO DO, I DECIDED TO RECORD VIDEO"
Master instructor T.E., who recounted what she experienced to an İhlas News Agency (İHA) reporter, stated that this was the first time such an incident had happened in her life, saying:
"I have been working as a master instructor for three years. We had our driving test on Saturday. I participated in the exam with a commission I had never encountered before. From 08:30 in the morning until 12:00 noon, the person sat in the front seat. In the afternoon, he moved to the back seat. After a while, I noticed he was making inappropriate moves. At first, I tried to be sure, but then he began to harass me with his hands. He touched my feet and put his hand on my back. I tried to show through my movements that I was uncomfortable, but he continued."
"I HELD MY PHONE WITH ONE HAND, PROTECTED MYSELF WITH THE OTHER"
Expressing that she did not know what to do in the face of the incident she experienced, T.E. stated that she secretly recorded to create evidence, saying, "I quietly turned on my phone's camera. I recorded about 4 minutes of footage. While I was holding the phone with one hand, I was trying to protect myself with the other. Since the exam was ongoing, I did not want the candidates to be affected. As soon as the exam ended at 16:00, I went to the gendarmerie and filed a complaint. Since I had never experienced such an incident before, I didn't know what to do. At that moment, I decided the most correct thing was to take video."
"WE DON'T WANT TO ENTRUST OUR CHILDREN TO SUCH A PERSON"
Stating that after the complaint, she researched the person and learned he was a school administrator, T.E. said the following:
"After filing the criminal complaint, I researched his name and learned he was an administrator at a school in Türkler. We don't want to entrust our children to such a person. I am appealing to all authorities from here. We do not want such a person to work in the education community. Most of the staff at the institution where I work are women. I am speaking out to be the voice for all of us."
"MY PSYCHOLOGY WAS GREATLY AFFECTED, I EVEN THOUGHT OF QUITTING MY JOB"
Stating that the incident deeply affected her psychologically, T.E. said, "After this incident, my psychology was greatly affected. I even thought of quitting my job. My only wish is that such an incident does not go unpunished. I want the necessary steps to be taken by the authorities."
SCHOOL PRINCIPAL ARRESTED
N.K., who was taken into custody by the Konaklı Gendarmerie Command teams, was referred to the courthouse after his procedures. The suspect, who was taken to court with a request for arrest after his statement at the prosecutor's office, was arrested by the Criminal Judgeship of Peace and sent to Alanya L-Type Closed Penal Execution Institution. When journalists asked N.K., "Are you remorseful?" as he left the courthouse, he left the question unanswered without making any statement.
