Three people who fell ill at the "Unreal x Jeton" concert held at the Istanbul Congress Center were taken to hospital. Despite all interventions performed at the hospital, Furkan Aksu died, and Sami Ramazanoğlu could not be saved. It was learned that one person is in serious condition.
Furkan Aksu (29), Mahmud Sami Ramazanoğlu (24), and T.M. (33), who attended the "Unreal x Jeton" concert held yesterday at the Istanbul Congress Center, fell ill around 03:15. Upon notification, medical teams were dispatched to the scene. After the medical teams' initial intervention, the three people were taken to Taksim Training and Research Hospital.
TWO PEOPLE LOST THEIR LIVES
Despite all interventions at the hospital, Furkan Aksu died. In the examinations by police and medical teams, the possibility that the three people may have fallen ill due to alcohol and drug use was focused on. It was learned that Furkan Aksu's exact cause of death will be determined after an autopsy at the Forensic Medicine Institute.
After Aksu, sad news also came from Ramazanoğlu. Despite all the doctors' interventions, Ramazanoğlu could not be saved. It was learned that T.M.'s condition is also serious.
APPROXIMATELY 5,000 PEOPLE ATTENDED THE CONCERT
In the police's initial examinations, it was determined that only people over 18 were admitted to the concert held between 21:00 and 04:00, alcohol was served in the event area, and approximately 5,000 people attended the concert. It was learned that the necessary documents for the organization were present. While the police teams' investigation into the incident continues, the concert area was evacuated.
