The helicopter crash that occurred in the Keçiborlu district of Isparta has brought 6 fires to the heart of Turkey. The funeral of the soldiers who were martyred in the accident, Lieutenant Mustafa Atakan Dut (24), was brought to Izmir by military aircraft after the ceremony in Isparta. A welcoming ceremony was held for martyr Dut at the military area of Adnan Menderes Airport. Military and civilian officials, along with his mother Kübra Dut, father Master Sergeant Ali Dut, and sister Ecem Nur Dut, attended the ceremony. THE MARTYR'S SISTER RAN AFTER THE FUNERAL VEHICLEThe funeral of martyr Mustafa Atakan Dut was brought to the apron by the ceremonial unit from the military aircraft. Then, the body of the martyr, wrapped in the Turkish flag, was carried to the funeral vehicle by the ceremonial unit. During this time, the mother and sister of the martyr lieutenant were overwhelmed with tears. As the martyr's funeral passed in front of the family, the mother Kübra Dut extended her arms and said "my son," which broke hearts. During this time, Ecem Nur Dut ran after the funeral vehicle carrying her brother's coffin wrapped in the Turkish flag for a while. The martyr's father, Ali Dut, saluted the body of his son as it passed by. The martyr's funeral was taken to his hometown, Germencik district of Aydın, to be buried with a convoy that was formed. THE MARTYR'S UNCLE: THE HOMELAND WILL BE SAFE, WE WILL RAISE MANY LIONSWhile a Turkish flag was hung at the martyr's family home in Germencik, Aydın, a condolence tent was set up on the street. The martyr's uncle, Serkan Nalbantoğlu, stated that his nephew had fulfilled his biggest dream of becoming a pilot. Nalbantoğlu said, "When he joined the army 5 years ago, he said, 'I will be a soldier, I will be a lieutenant, I will be a pilot.' Thank God he achieved all of them. He was very well-intentioned, very honest. He was like a lion. He reached his goals but could not continue. The homeland will be safe; we will raise many lions." THE MARTYR'S GRANDFATHER: 'I WILL BE A PILOT' HE SAID, AND HE BECAME ONEThe grandfather, Bekir Nalbantoğlu, stated, "He studied for 5 years. He graduated from the military academy. He said, 'I will be a pilot,' and he became one. He was going to go to a course for helicopters, but it was not meant to be. The homeland will be safe."
