Slime broadcasts, which are becoming increasingly common on TikTok, have gone completely off the rails with a woman's unusual images during her live stream. Within the scope of the trend that has caused different comments on social media, it was stated that another broadcast using a giant slime was watched by 65 thousand people at the same time. On the other hand, the couple, who were claimed to have earned 3 million TL from the slime broadcast, announced that they had obtained only 140 thousand tokens, saying that their earnings were much lower than the alleged figure.
Slime broadcasts on the social media platform TikTok continue to appear before viewers with different content.
Most recently, images shared from a woman's live broadcast with slime drew attention. Some users criticizing how far the slime trend has come commented on the images, "…it went too far."
65 THOUSAND PEOPLE WATCHED AT THE SAME TIME
Another slime broadcast previously held on TikTok reached remarkable viewer numbers. It was reported that 65 thousand people simultaneously followed the live broadcast in which the huge slime was stretched and shaped.
The fact that a broadcast containing no competition, concert, or sports event reached such a high number of viewers reopened the debate about content consumption habits on social media platforms.
THEY WERE CLAIMED TO HAVE EARNED 3 MILLION TL
The interest in slime broadcasts also began to be discussed along with the earnings from this content.
It was claimed that a couple who do slime broadcasts on social media earned 3 million TL from a single broadcast. After the claims, the couple made a statement and said the figures being discussed did not reflect the truth.
"WE RECEIVED 140 THOUSAND TOKENS"
The couple announced that they earned a total of 140 thousand tokens at the end of their live broadcast.
Providing information about TikTok's earnings system, the couple used the following statements:
"At the end of the broadcast, we received 140 thousand tokens. If you are not in the A-1 league, it gives 1 dollar for 250-270 tokens. In return, of course, you also pay your tax after withdrawing."
According to the conversion rate announced by the couple, it was calculated that 140 thousand tokens corresponded to approximately 519 to 560 dollars.
THEY SPENT 16 THOUSAND 800 TL ON MATERIALS ALONE
Arguing that slime broadcasts are not as low-cost as believed, the couple also drew attention to the expenses of the materials they use.
The couple said, "In addition, of course, because it is not a PK broadcast or a chat broadcast, there is the expense of the material used. For yesterday's giant slime, approximately 16 thousand 700-16 thousand 800 liras' worth of material was used."
Thus, the couple responded to the claims that they earned 3 million TL by explaining both the number of tokens and the broadcast expenses.
WHAT IS SLIME?
Slime is known as a play material with a flexible, gel-like structure, usually prepared using glue and thickening agents.
Slime, which can be squeezed, stretched, and put into different shapes, is widely used especially among children and young people.
In recent years, live broadcasts on platforms such as TikTok based on stretching, mixing, and shaping slime into different forms have also attracted interest.
