In a statement made by the Konya Governorship, it was noted that due to the adverse weather conditions caused by the effective snowfall, blizzard, and storm throughout the province, there have been disruptions in transportation and some roads are completely closed to vehicle traffic. The statement indicated that the Konya-Ankara highway between Konya-Altınekin, the entire Konya-Aksaray highway, the Konya-Adana road between Konya-Karapınar, and the Konya-Antalya highway between Konya-Seydişehir are closed to all vehicle traffic in both directions.

In the statement, it was expressed that other roads connecting the city to outside the province are open to traffic, and citizens were requested not to travel unless necessary due to the adverse weather conditions that have arisen.

In the statement, it was noted that Konya Governor İbrahim Akın is conducting coordination efforts with representatives of relevant disaster groups within the scope of the Turkey Disaster Response Plan (TAMP) at the Konya Provincial AFAD Center, and it was recorded that "Due to the blizzard, storm, and heavy snowfall that are effective in some areas of our province, the situation of the closed roads, the provision of citizens' basic needs, and the work for emergencies are continuing with 3,228 personnel and 1,093 vehicles."
