The Minister of Labor and Social Security, Vedat Işıkhan, announced that 61 more drugs, 58 of which are domestically produced, have been added to the reimbursement list of the Social Security Institution (SGK).
Işıkhan stated in a post on his social media account, "With the regulation made by our Social Security Institution, we are including 61 more drugs in the reimbursement list, 58 of which are domestically produced. Thus, we have included 397 drugs in the reimbursement scope during the period of January and October of this year to provide more effective service to our citizens." He reported that they have increased the number of drugs on the reimbursement list to 8,786, wishing that the drugs would bring healing to patients and wishing citizens a healthy life.
In the visual shared by Minister Vedat Işıkhan, it was noted that out of the 61 drugs added to the reimbursement list, 9 are for diabetes, 5 are antithrombotic, 2 are for Alzheimer’s, and 1 is for chronic immune thrombocytopenia.
