The Chairman of the TBMM Agriculture, Forestry and Rural Affairs Commission and AK Party Kahramanmaraş Deputy Vahit Kirişci's son-in-law Mehmet Özcan (29) passed away due to a heart attack he suffered at his home in Ankara. Mehmet Özcan, who lived in the Çiğdem neighborhood of Çankaya district, fell in the bathroom late last night. Özcan, who was found motionless by his wife, was taken to a private hospital in the city by an ambulance dispatched to the address upon notification. Özcan, who was determined to have suffered a heart attack, could not be saved despite intervention. Vahit Kirişci published a condolence message on his social media account. Kirişci said, "My beloved child, my son-in-law Mehmet Özcan has passed away. His funeral will be held today after the afternoon prayer at Balgat Central Mosque, and he will be buried at Karşıyaka Cemetery after the funeral prayer. I pray for mercy for my Mehmet. May his grave be illuminated, and his place be paradise."
