The sports trainer was killed by a police officer in front of his house.

In a horrific incident in Brazil, fitness trainer Giovanny Carvalho (36), who suspiciously lost his wife eight months ago, was killed by a police officer. The event was captured moment by moment on security cameras.

The footage of the murder in the city of Petrolina shows Carvalho fleeing from a 35-year-old off-duty police officer and struggling to survive in front of his home. While Carvalho was trying to grab a weapon on the ground, he was hit by multiple bullets in his body and head. The assailant then shot six more bullets into Carvalho's head while he lay face down on the ground.

The suspect, a member of the Pernambuco Military Police, was captured in a nearby apartment after the incident. Eyewitnesses told CNN Brasil that Carvalho had a relationship with the police officer's wife and that the murder may have been committed for this reason.

Carvalho's wife, Aila Pimenta (32), suspiciously passed away eight months ago. Pimenta, who was also a fitness trainer, died from an electric shock while taking clothes from a clothesline next to the air conditioner in their home. In this incident, Carvalho and the couple's six-year-old daughter were also hospitalized due to electric shock.

The couple also has two other children aged one and two. The Pernambuco Civil Police, which is conducting the investigation, stated that the incident is not a military crime and that the investigation will be carried out by the civil police.
