The investigation into the incidents that occurred after the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe match on May 19, in which stadium manager Ali Çelikkıran was assaulted, continues at the Istanbul Public Prosecutor's Office. Fenerbahçe President Ali Koç was also at the Istanbul Courthouse in Çağlayan today to give his statement. After giving his statement at the Press Crimes Investigation Bureau, Koç left the courthouse. KOÇ'S STATEMENT REVEALEDThe statement given by Fenerbahçe Club President Ali Koç as a "suspect" in the investigation into the incidents following the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby in the 37th week of the Trendyol Super League has been revealed. Ali Koç stated in his statement to the prosecutor's office that he had the right to enter the field as the club president after the Galatasaray-Fenerbahçe derby played on May 19. "I DENY ANY ACCUSATION"Koç expressed that he did not understand why a complaint was filed against him regarding this matter, and stated the following: "There is no behavior in my actions that contains any criminal element. Moreover, when we entered the field, the match and the spectator area were completely empty. There was no one. It is also alleged that my words to the complainant Eray Yazgan, 'If you don't leave here, you will get beaten,' were a threat. However, at that moment, I only warned him that he should leave the area so that the atmosphere would not become more tense. There is no threat in my words. I did not make any threats or insults towards Eray Yazgan. I did not hear Selahattin Baki swear. I just warned him not to get involved in any incidents before the match. That's why I warned him again on the field. I do not accept any of the allegations mentioned in the complaint petition. I request a decision of non-prosecution against me."
