In the investigation of Maydonoz Döner, where operations were carried out and 126 people were arrested, the statement of Ömer Şeyhin, the founder of Maydonoz Döner, has emerged. In the investigation conducted within the framework of FETÖ's financial structuring, Ömer Şeyhin provided a 111-page statement. In his statement, Şeyhin claimed that he did not know many individuals who appeared to be company partners.

As part of the operation conducted in 32 provinces centered in Antalya, 126 people identified as providing financial support to FETÖ through the Maydonoz Döner restaurant chain were arrested and sent to prison. While 156 of the suspects were released under judicial control, 90 were released by the police and prosecutors.

THERE ARE JUDGES AND PUBLIC OFFICIALS AMONG THEM

It has been learned that among the suspects are judges and public officials who were dismissed by a decree due to their alleged affiliation with FETÖ.

IT STARTED WITH THE CONFESSIONS OF A FORMER EMPLOYEE

New details had emerged in the FETÖ operation targeting the restaurant chain named Maydonoz Döner. It was claimed that R.Ö., an employee at one of the chain's branches, was subjected to mobbing with excuses such as declining turnover and workplace disorder after it was understood that he benefited from the effective remorse provisions. It was determined that R.Ö. had written a confession letter to CİMER regarding turnover increases and meetings held by FETÖ suspects who were dismissed from public service. In his statement taken by the prosecutor's office, R.Ö. explained that he started working as a waiter through the reference of a friend he knew was connected to the organization and made many confessions.

THE STATEMENT OF THE NUMBER ONE OF MAYDONOZ DÖNER

According to the news published in Yeni Şafak; Ömer Şeyhin, one of the company partners who was detained and arrested in the investigation targeting the döner chain operating in 8 countries and 87 cities centered in Antalya, gave a 111-page statement. When asked for information about many people who appeared to be company partners, Şeyhin replied, "I do not know them" for all of these names.

Authorities asked Şeyhin whether he knew Metin Eroğlu, who was involved in FETÖ's secret structure in the Naval Forces Command and served 1 year in prison, and Gökhan Ertaş, who was part of FETÖ's overseas structure. Şeyhin responded to this question as follows:

"I am learning about the affiliations of Metin Eroğlu and Gökhan Ertaş with FETÖ for the first time from you here. I have known them for about 6 months. It is true that Metin Eroğlu has been involved in all transactions and meetings, despite having no official ties to selling shares to Arab investors. Gökmen Ertaş was using Metin Eroğlu like his own employee."

In response to the question about Captain Levent Doğan, who is known as the owner of one of the döner branches in Ankara and for whom a 7 year 6 month prison sentence is sought due to his affiliation with FETÖ, Şeyhin replied: "I know him as the owner of one of our Maydonoz Döner branches in Ankara. However, I have no information about whether he has any connection with FETÖ."
