The Sultans of the Net defeated Italy 3-0 in the Mediterranean Games final match, completing the tournament as undefeated champions.

On the tenth day of the 20th Mediterranean Games (Taranto 2026), Türkiye won one gold in volleyball and one bronze each in shooting and judo.

SULTANS OF THE NET BEAT ITALY IN STRAIGHT SETS

On the 10th day of the event held in Taranto, Italy, medals were awarded in shooting, judo, and volleyball. The Women's National Volleyball Team won the gold medal by defeating the host nation Italy 3-0 in the final with set scores of 25-22, 26-24, and 25-18.

MEN'S NATIONAL TEAM LOST THE BRONZE MEDAL MATCH

The Men's National Volleyball Team, on the other hand, lost the third-place match against Italy 3-2 with set scores of 19-25, 26-24, 18-25, 25-23, and 10-15.

BRONZE MEDAL IN SHOOTING

In the shooting branch, in the mixed team 10m air rifle category, Damla Köse and Mert Nalbant, representing Türkiye, won the bronze medal with a total of 437.2 points in the final.

NATIONALS BEAT ALGERIA

In judo, the mixed team consisting of Özlem Yıldız, Ayşenur Budak, Sinem Oruç, Tuana Gülenay, Hilal Öztürk, Hilmi Mucık, Bilal Çiloğlu, Vedat Albayrak, Emir Selim Arı, and İbrahim Tataroğlu defeated Algeria 4-3 in the bronze medal match.
